What is Werewolf the Forsaken?
Werewolf: The Forsaken is a dark urban fantasy role playing game based on the world of Chronicles of Darkness and by extension Camara Obscura.
Its main theme is raw, animalistic violence, unity in the face of deadly threats, and the upholding of an ancient duty.
The World of Werewolf: The Forsaken
In Werewolf: The Forsaken, the protagonists are werewolves who are guardians of the balance between the world of Flesh and the world of Spirits.
Werewolves (or Uratha) are beings who have taken on this sacred ancient duty, from Father Wolf, their first ancestor. However, this duty comes at a price, as the werewolves must deal with monsters and threats that threaten the balance of the world on a daily basis.
The Guardians of the Balance
Werewolves are divided into tribes, each with its own characteristics and powers. Each tribe has its own role in protecting the balance, and by choosing your tribe, you will define your character and your story in the world of Werewolf: The Forsaken.
Every werewolf must find a balance between his instincts, and his humanity.
They walk a tightrope every day, where the slightest wrong move can be fatal, not only for them but also for their pack & their loved ones.
The Sacred Task
In the world of werewolves, there are many enemies. From monstrous beings in spider or rat form looking to invade the world of Flesh, to humans seeking to exploit the Spirit world for personal gain or power.
The Hunt
In the world of Werewolf the Forsaken, the hunt and the sense of teamwork through your pack are among the most important parts of the game.
You will have to cooperate, compromise or even fight to the death for your beliefs and the protection of the world from those who intend to violate it.
